Vintage Fireplace

This lovely fireplace has a tile mantle, two-tier tile surround, and hearth. It was designed and installed by the homeowners. They visited the factory and sketched several versions before deciding on this design.

The glaze is Burnt Oak; one of the most popular glazes for fireplaces. It has a lot of variation which gives a very handmade look.

The surround uses 6" x 6" field and bullnosed tiles, 3" x 3" field and bullnosed tiles, 6" decorative tiles, 3" decorative tiles, and a special size for the corners. The hearth is made of 6" x 6" and 3" x 3" field and bullnosed tiles. The mantle is made of 9" x 12" P-Sills which were custom cut.
