Bungalow Fireplace

This fireplace went into an old bungalow being restored in the Sacramento area. The marrying of wood and handmade tile creates an appropriate fireplace for a cozy bungalow.

The main glaze color is Monterey Jade.
The keystone is an 8" x 8" Mother Oak.
The 4" x 4" decorative tiles are high relief Acorns with Border. (See the Decorative Tiles.)

The 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" Mini tiles have been used extensively (4 Minis take the place of one 4 x 4)
Contrasting colors were used for some of the
Mini tiles: Nutmeg and French Vanilla.
